Stone Soup - imove campaign

So my first day at stone soup was really interesting, I got stuck into a live brief straight away for imove.

imove is a new campaign by Yorkshire Art Council to get people moving and bringing people together. It is inspired by the 2012 Olympics and wants to 'blur the line between the arts and the sports communities.

There was a lot of restrictions put in place such as:

  • You must use the imove logo in every piece that you design and must be at the top of the page.
  • The colours of the logo must either be the imove purple or white
  • The correct amount of space should be given to the imove strip. Cropping will infringe on the imove and your logo
  • To ensure legibility and stand out, the logo should never appear smaller than 12mm in height.
  • The funder logo strip should always be included on any imove material. They must be in the right order.
  • Do not change the colour of the logos and if placed over an image they must be kept legible.
  • When describing your relationship with imove it must never be described as a ‘funder’. Instead use ‘commissioned by’ or ‘produced in association with’.
  • Because imove is about movement we encourage photos that have a sense of action, either taking place, just happened or about to happen.
  • You should only use the imove colours e.g. 80C 100M 10Y 0K, R102 G000 B153, White, Black
Ok so after taking all this in, Ben has given me a budget of £500 for a quantity of 5,000, so this will make a big impact on my design.
